The urge to compete and take part in competitions are part of human nature. This urge can now be satisfied with this outstanding waterslide, the Racer. The Double Racer is wiegand.maelzer gmbh’s answer to serious water slide competition racing. The slide consists of four experiences: the Formula 1 style start, head to head acceleration stretch, separate high speed tunnel sections and the finish. Sector times are displayed at the double dip where the two circuits meet again. This is all supported by the new high tech sensor system RACE GUIDE® that monitors the whole track on both individual slides measuring times and positions and adjusts accordingly to ensure maximum thrill and tension. The leader’s slide is lit up green and the chaser’s is red. The colours change according to who is in the lead. High end speakers are installed at the start, double dip and at the finish. The Formula 1 style start, engine noise and cheering spectators complete this unforgettable experience.
