The Wie-Flyer self-drive gondolas hang on a closed circuit rail system suspended from a steelwork substructure. Each vehicle is equipped with an infinitely variable electric motor controlled individually by the passengers. The maximum velocity is about 40 km/h. The passengers experience exhilarating flying sensations as their vehicle reacts to the centrifugal forces, swinging out in the curves depending on the velocity.
